The Hour of Code at Houston Public Schools
The Largest Learning Event in History: The Hour of Code
Houston Elementary School technology classes and Houston High School math classes joined in on the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code, during Computer Science Education Week (December 7-13).
At Houston Elementary School, Mrs. Lisa Schutte’s Technology Class students (about 220 of them) participated in age appropriate online code-learning activities and games.  At Houston High School, Mrs. Hannah Bauman and Ms. Ashley Rogich did fun and engaging one-hour online programming tutorials with 179 students in their Algebra, Calculus, Geometry and general math classes.
