My goal is to help ALL students experience success while at Houston High School. Counselors serve in many roles to support students academically, social-emotionally and as they plan for their transition to life after high school.
My background includes growing up in Melrose, WI. I attended Melrose-Mindoro High School from K-12. Following high school, I received my bachelor's degree from Viterbo University in Psychology. I then worked for six years as a Native American student liaison in the La Crosse and Black River Falls school districts. While working, I completed my master's degree in K-12 school counseling from Winona State University. Following this, I started as a school counselor at Houston High School in 2005. I am fortunate to be a part of a supportive community and school and enjoy each day with the students at HHS!
My husband, Jason and I, along with our 3 sons and 1 grandson enjoy fishing, hiking, kayaking, skiing and spending time with family and friends.
