Winona State - Andon Story, senior trumpet, and William Carlson, freshman bari sax, performed with the 44th Annual Winona State Honor Band on Saturday, Nov. 6. They were chosen for the group that was made up of musicians from 26 different schools across Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin. The Band was directed by Dr. Melanie Brooks from WSU and Guest Composer Carl Holmquist, who wrote a composition just for this festival. This was the World Premiere Performance of his piece entitled: Let Us Renew That Spirit. Way to go Andon and William!
