The Houston High School dance team started out in 2002 as a group of young women performing at half times of basketball and football games and has grown into a state bound program. In dance, not only will young athletes learn dance technique, but they will become athletes with pride, integrity, and composure both on and off the court. It is these qualities that will help them achieve excellence in whatever they pursue.
The Houston Dance Team promotes a supportive family atmosphere; it is not unusual for graduates to come back and offer to sit in on dance.
