We want to ensure that our all our students have access to school meals. If you are interested in receiving meal bundles for a student enrolled in distance learning through Houston Public Schools, please contact us. We can be reached through email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include Distance Learning Food Service as the subject line and the necessary order information in the body. We can also be reached by calling the Distance Learning Food Service Line (formerly the School Closure Meal Bundle Line) at 507-896-5323 and choosing option 8.
With either ordering method, be ready to include your name, a contact phone number, the student's name or students' names, the number of total meal bundles, and the number of optional vegetable sides to complete your request. (For example: Joe Smith, 507-555-5555, Johnny Smith, 1 meal bundle and 1 optional side.) At this time, meal bundles will include a sack breakfast and lunch according to the Houston High School menu. Meal bundles will be available for pick up at 12:30, if the request is made by 9 AM daily. Alternate arrangements will be made for consistent requests.
Pick up will be available at Houston High School, door #6, the gymnasium entrance. Please be flexible/patient as these plans are subject to change with little notice. However, we will communicate any changes to all distance learners as quickly as possible.
